    Our client, a Japanese trading company is now looking for the below talent - 

    Key responsibilities: 

    Direct report to Deputy GM of Finance and lead a small team                     Monitor daily accounting operation and month end closing process. Responsible for management reports, annual budget and quarterly forecast                                       

    Perform BS review & financial analysis for business                                                                                 

    Ensure the financial processes align with the local compliances, accounting standard and internal policy. Liaise with both internal and external parties to perform statutory audit and handle tax related matters. Support the Finance Manager to review and document accounting policies, process flow and procedures and providing recommendations for improvement                                                                     

    Support for other ad hoc assignments 

    Requirements: 

    . Demonstrate strong accounting capabilities with at least 7 years of relevant experience gained in MNC, including 3 years in supervisory role; Audit experience a plus 

    . Qualified Accountant (ACCA/HKICPA etc) 

    . Knowledge in SAP. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Chinese word processing 

    . Good command of both English, Cantonese and Putonghua 

    . Initiative, possess good analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills 

    . Independent with good time management skill and able to work under pressure

    Our client, a money lender, is now looking for an experienced candidate to join their expanding team:

    Responsibilities

    •Provide recommendation to senior management on Data Warehouse’s functionality and availability according to business changes and different products implementation

    •Implement business report for senior management on decision making, budgeting and market forecasting

    •Periodic review on Data Warehouse architecture in order to comply with different audit requirements

    •Monitor projects’ schedule and resource in order to fulfill management expectation on project delivery

    •Perform documentation of Functional Specification, System Specification etc.

    •Develop and maintain the core Data Warehouse system for the company

    •Develop and maintain the OPEL (Opt-Out Enquiry Online) system for the company

    •Study new technology in order to obtain more analytical statistic or accurate forecast on business decision

    •Coordinate with other system teams, including applications and network, for a smooth running of the daily computer processing

    •Gather requirements from users regarding the development and enhancement of the computer systems and provide appropriate solutions

    •Maintain and fine-tune the development and production environments for performance 

    •Maintain the Data Warehouse database architecture according to the requirements of business functions

    •Provide documentation for systems developed

    •Ensure the backup and recovery procedures are adequate and enforce information security standards and comply with procedures defined under Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan

    •Supervise subordinates and provide guidelines on technical and also business definition

    •Arrange training for end user computing requirements

    •Define operations needs and procedures for operators

    Requirements

    •Bachelor degree or higher in Computer science, Information Technology or related discipline

    •Minimum of 10 years working experience on design and delivery of enterprise-scale Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (DW/BI) systems (Preferable in financial industry)

    •Minimum of 2 years management experience

    •Base SAS 9.1 or higher and CODING experience

    •Knowledge in Oracle Data warehouse platform

    •Exposure to SAS Macros

    •Exposure to ETL Processing and Methodologies

    •Experience with SAS EG and SAS OLAP Cube Studio would be a plus

    •Knowledge in Data Mining

    •Good command of both spoken and written English

    •Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin

    •Proficiency in Unix scripts, SQL, Stored Procedure programming and job scheduling preferably in Oracle, SQL Server or DB2

    •Prior experience in Business Objects, Crystal Reports, DataStage or Cognos is desirable
