Job Description

Objective: We are a listed company based in Hong Kong with Pan-Asia business interests. To lead our new project in Japan we are looking for a new strong member to join the team to assist Group Property and Project Director (PPD in Hong Kong) and CEO of Japan business unit (in Japan) to promptly follow through planning and implementation of the project including such functions as research market needs and competitor activities, liaise with designers and contractors and seek collaboration opportunities with multiple business partners, etc..
 
Job responsibilities:

1.	Project Management
-	Follow through project charter implementation.
-	Report on expenses and project timeline, ensuring they align with the plan approved by HQ.
-	Regularly update HQ on partnership developments, outcomes, and feedback from Japan.
-	Ensure all external collaborations and partnership agreements align with corporate objectives and standards.
-	Support PPD and CEO in managing relationships with local agencies, vendors, and service providers in Japan.
-	Foster a collaborative environment and ensure effective communication between the local team and HQ.

2.	Build Knowledge Library
-	Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer preferences, behaviours, and emerging trends in Japan.
-	Analyze local competitors in Japan, providing insights and recommendations to HQ.
-	Identify and report on potential market segments and target audiences.
-	Track, analyze, and report on marketing KPIs and ROI.

3.	Other Ad Hoc Duties

Job Requirement

Qualifications:
-	At least 5 years of project manager experience, preferably in retailing or hospitality industries.
-	Proficient in written and spoken Japanese and English a must. Cantonese/Mandarin will be an advantage.
-	Strong understanding of the markets and cultural nuances of Japan.
-	Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills.
-	Fast learner and result-oriented
-	Be able to perform frequent business trip to Japan (around 3 weeks a month)
