Our client is an international, publicly listed group of companies with headquarters in Austria, production sites in all major markets as well as a worldwide network of sales and marketing offices. They supply the global textile and nonwovens industry with high-quality man-made cellulose fibers. To further grow their business they have a new opening in their regional office in HK:
Product Manager – Premium Fiber
Requirements
•Bachelor degree related to textile engineering /chemical (preferably dyeing/finishing)
•5+ years of relevant working experience in textile field or adjacent businesses such as auxiliary/dyestuff is required
•Fluency in English and Chinese (both spoken and written) is a must
•Solid experience in marketing and product management of technical products
•Effective in creating marketing concepts and using B to B e-commerce tool
•Adequate know-how of the textile market
•A Team player with leadership and communication skills
•Proven experience working in a matrix organization
Responsibilities
•Reporting to SVP, Business Management
•Creates premium concepts for differentiating the company from other competitors
•Responsible for the life cycle of the products i.e. product launch, pricing, to achieve market expansion for a sizable premium business
•Travels to other countries in Asia and Europe for business
