Retail Merchandising Executive
Department / Division: Brand Retail Department
Position Title: Retail Merchandising Executive
Report to: Assistant Retail Merchandising Manager
Mission
Assist in delivering the right range mix of brand based on market needs and opportunities that will deliver business targets on net sales, margin and profitability.
Support merchandising team with day to day operations such as raising Sales Orders, Purchase orders and following up on inventory dispatches; both from port to warehouse and from warehouse to stores.
Job Responsibilities
Support Assistant Merchandising Manager in developing Merchandising business plan/ strategies
Responsible for planning and managing all India distribution information in partnership with Merchandising team
Coordinate with Central logistics team for inventory management as well as dispatches
Planning monthly deliveries against partner orders and monthly drop plan
Assist in whole Footwear/Apparel/Accessory business cycle from sales forecasting, distribution, ordering, inventory management
Prepare style master seasonally and share with necessary teams. Create cataloguing for brand.com and online portal partners
Maintain & reconcile stocks data at all ends (partners, warehouse, E-commerce etc)
Coordinating and managing all computer-related activities/reports within the network
Preparing all daily /weekly/ monthly sales and merchandising reports
Provide support and maintenance to existing management information systems (MIS)
Coordinate with partner store teams and POS partner to ensure smooth operations. Upload all relevant data including inventory on POS as and when required.
Experience / Skills Required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of merchandising, product life cycles and product planning
Strong analytical and presentation/communication skills
Ability to manage and/or coordinate with internal and external cross-functional groups (regional office, product, marketing)
Ability to clearly and tactfully articulate problems and resolutions
Excellent MS Office skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Strong knowledge on handling Web portals & Dashboards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or College Degree in a related field preferred
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Retail Merchandising or Retail MIS
Fluent in English
