Job Description
• Liaison with Vietnamese authorities regarding approvals requirements; • Architectural design of Projects according to relevant standards; • Responsible for leading the design team of architects, designers and CAD technicians; • Manage clients and projects and report to Board of Directors; • With assistance and through Board of Directors, establish strategic goals with design team; • Assist Board of Directors in preparing design proposals, assigning project teams and participating in presentations and the whole design process from A-Z within project time frame; • Coordinating all works for both internal teams and other construction professionals such as architects, engineers and contractors during project permitting and construction stage; • Review all projects to ensure that the Company’s philosophy and quality standards are being adhered to; • Maintain close contact with all staff in order to ensure high morale and production efficiency; • Lead the project team to develop architecture design solutions for projects; • Investigate options and alternatives for architecture design concepts; • Fully develop architecture design concepts and prepare with the project team documentation for tender and construction; • Clarify scope of work and prepare fee schedule; • Encourage and supervise junior designers to provide good design and standard detailing; • Plan designer
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field • Minimum 7 years experience preferably in Architect’s office (NOT architect for plant, infrastructure, individual house, restaurant and NOT in developer, NOT BIM Architect); foreign architect office and a big project are preferable • Good organization, leadership and time management skills; • Design, project and people management skills. Prior management or supervisory experience preferred; • Ability to work independently as well as team work; • Good design with detailing capabilities; • Experience and understanding in Project Permitting, Project Management and Contract Administration; • Required language(s): Vietnamese and English; • Proficiency in drafting using AutoCAD and MS Office, knowledge of SketchUp and Photoshop would be an advantage; • Other details of this position will be discussed at the interview <Preferable Skill / Experience> • Working experience in Japanese Architect's office and understanding Japanese clients (details are required) • Not job hopper
