Our client is one of the largest Japanese securities firms. They are now looking for suitable candidates as the following:
Job Duties
Responsible for providing internal support and administration of the Company’s desktop environment as IT helpdesk by analyzing requirements, isolating problems, installing hardware and software solutions. The environment includes PCs, servers, printers and phones, and other related equipment and software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for issues and requests related to PCs, servers, printers, phones (including mobile phones), software, local area networks (LAN) and other related systems
- Respond quickly and effectively to queries via phone/email/in person
- Resolve technical issues with vendors’ support
- Follow up with users to ensure issues and requests have been resolved
- Prepare computer training manuals and provide computer training to users
- Install, modify, repair and test computer hardware and software
- Manage PC and computers setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
- Manage and maintain all inventories, licenses and other documents related to the systems
- Support various internal projects
Requirements and Experiences
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years’ relevant technical experience
- System Knowledge
- General PC environment (Windows7)
- Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook, Exchange, Active Directory)
- Script languages (Perl, MS-DOS (bat/cmd), WSH, etc.)
- Basic networking
- Basic server management skills (VM management skill is preferable)
