Duties & Responsibilities: -
- Responsible for preparation & implementation of budget and operating plans
- Assure sales target, NCBA target, penetration & product mix and branding target aligned with agreed plan
- Manage distributor by continuously review, guide, and monitor the performance of existing distributors. Identify and help select of new distributors, outline standard selling and commission / rebate arrangements and negotiate changes in sales agreements
- Formulate and execute A&P activities for the market
- Control and coordinate the Commercial operations and activities by constantly monitoring performance and guiding the subordinates.
- Assess and analyze the market environment (through direct market research or secondary market observation) to identify business opportunities and pinpoint problems for improvement.
- Formulate medium to long term channel and product strategies in support of market sales & profit development objectives.
II. JOB SPECIFICATION
Education & Experience: -
- University graduate in Business/Marketing, MBA is a plus
- Minimum 12 years sales & marketing experience, preferably in FMCG/foods industry.
- At least 5 years management experience and previous experience in Japan market is a MUST.
- Previous experience in managing distributor is an advantage.
Requirements & Skills: -
- A strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in market and trend analysis, product development and brand building.
- Highly numerate with the financial acumen to manage a P&L in a disciplined manner and analyse the key business drivers.
- Well market knowledge with good business networking.
- Entrepreneurship and strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, project management and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written in Cantonese, English and Japanese, Mandarin is a plus.
