This European brand has been established for more than 60 years now covering 9 categories of products related to car parts/hobby/technology/chemicals etc. Hong Kong has been their regional headquarters under which there are eight sourcing offices in Asia. They are now seeking a responsible social compliance/CSR Assistant Manager/Senior Officer to monitor and train suppliers in different locations:
Job Description
Conduct Code of Conduct (CoC) Audits in China and Asian countries with report submission in timely and quality manner
Develop Corrective Actions Plan (CAP) with suppliers after audits
Supervise and coordinate CAP program for all suppliers
Conduct on-site training and coaching to factories
Conduct internal and external CoC trainings
Supervise CSR Officers in the region
Perform ad hoc visits & projects
Requirements
Tertiary educated, preferably in Social Science or Accounting
5-8 years CoC auditing experience for factories producing diversified merchandises in China and Asian countries
Strong background for training and coaching factories
High degree of work ethics and integrity
SA8000 Lead Auditor and background with animal welfare practices are absolute advantages
Strong knowledge of local labor, health and safety and environmental laws including China and Asian countries as well as CSR standards such as EICC & SA8000
Self-motivated, detailed-oriented & organized
Independent and responsible as well as ability to work in a team
Problem-solver, able to meet tight deadline and work under high pressure
Frequent travel to China and Asian Countries
