This global leader in gaming offers to players games across all channels and regulated segments, from Gaming Machines and Lotteries to Interactive and Social Gaming. It has multiple hubs in Greater China including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Singapore, Taipei and Macau. Their China Operation team currently has an opening:
MANAGER, STRATEGIC PROJECTS
Responsibilities:
•Report to Vice President, Greater China Operations
•Work withd cross-functional teams to structure and manage implementations of business solutions.
•While managing complex projects, s/he must also be a business analyst, consultant, strategist and at times a customer relationship manager
•Coordinate large scale cross-functional, business-oriented projects
•Drive major projects
•Identify critical questions, network within organization to find appropriate resources, solicit answers, clearly layout strategies and implementation plans, and realize those plans
•Identify and solicit required inputs from customer and multiple internal business units (including business development, legal, compliance, government relations, business evaluation, finance, product marketing, and technology and delivery organizations) to develop solutions that can be executed upon
•Ensure projects pass internal approvals, are compliant with all regulations, leverage international best practices and are tailored for local markets according to customer and internal requirements
•Understand issues from multiple perspectives and optimize choices
•Understand value chains and processes and be able to propose new solutions
•Layout business cases and be able to present
•Develop presentations, reports and analysis that will be presented to senior management
Requirements:
•University degree
•At least 3-5 (or more) years of professional experience as a consultant with the Big 4 or similar professional services firm
•Strong project management skills
•Fluent English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
•Strong Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills
•Strong presentation, writing and analytic skills
•Ability to take on and adapt to new tasks and understand new products
•Ability to work well in teams
•Motivated self-starter with ability to set own direction
•Strong work ethic, achievement focused
•Customer facing experience dealing with customer requirements
•Experience in advising on online, lottery or casino gaming industry preferred
