Our client, a startup consumer electronics company seeking to revolutionize the way consumers interact with the world around them.Now they are looking for the following candidate -
Responsibilities:
· Research and develop insights into markets, consumers and competitors in support of company's strategic planning process, initially focusing on Japan, but subsequently examining other Asian markets.
· Identify, segment, and prioritize target consumer segments within the target markets
· Recommend changes in product features and portfolio based on data-driven insights
· Find and project manage licensing and importation approval consultants for company's products to Japan
· Develop market entry strategies for Japan and other markets, influencing value proposition, distribution, marketing, and pricing decisions
· Project manage diverse range of vendors and consultants in support of implementation of final market entry strategies and tactical media campaigns
Requirements:
· 2-3 years experience in strategic consulting, corporate planning, market research or marketing
· Undergraduate or higher degree in Economics; technical (Engineering) background also valued
· Experience with hypothesis based approach essential
· Native level Japanese and advanced business English (day-to-day operations in English)
· Proficiency in Korean and/or Mandarin Chinese highly valued
· Strong sense of ownership and accountability
· Independent thinker and self starter
· Able to thrive in entrepreneurial environment; willing to take on a variety of challenges
