Our client is one of the leading fortune 500 Electronics Manufacturer in providing OEM/ODM Electronics parts for Communications, Computing, Healthcare, Military, Aerospace and Industrial Automation.
- Support analytical requirements of Global Commodity Team
- Support Hong Kong based Chief Procurement Officer and Vice President Finance
- Develop comprehensive and detailed baseline of existing cost structure from which “what-if” scenarios may developed and improvement may be measured
- Within the aforementioned baseline, develop analytical relationship (model) of how operational KPIs translate into financial performance
- Ensure accuracy and weekly financial reporting
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls on direct and indirect material spending
- Ability to create and measure total cost calculation for entire product life cycle(design to end of life), provide productivity improvement recommendation and support on implementation across all cross functional groups
- Understand China, Philippine, Raw material and market environments to provide 1-3 years financial planning
- Long term, bottom up financial planning on respective commodity group
- Forecasting - work with site to develop a robust and timely forecast process that is owned by the commodity leads and accurately reflects the future, encapsulating needed actions to achieve desired productivity which are then translated into action plans by commodity leads
- NWC Management – maintain and improve lead time reduction, payment terms and SMI roll out
- Customer cost erosion measurements- Ensure that segments’ material margin are reported accurately (forecast and actuals), using a consistent, predictable and transparent method of cost
- Material margin improvement-Understanding segments cost erosion trend and ability to translate to productivity requirement
- Investment and Acquisitions - Where applicable, support the business on acquisitions and divestitures related due diligence and business acumen to support business models
- MBA or CPA Preferred with min 10 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in EMS or Investment Banking a plus
- Experience with supporting division, function or regional heads as finance lead
- Cost accounting experience required
- Manufacturing and international experience required
- Supply Chain experience preferred/required
- Ability to work in Hong Kong – preferably already living there
