Our Client: Our client is an established Japanese company, specialising in Investment and Financial Services. They are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing team in Singapore. Proficiency in Japanese language is essential to effectively communicate with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers The Responsibilities: • Manage full accounts (GL, AR, AP), reconcile bank accounts, prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and analyze performance • Handle GST/ VAT filings, corporate tax submissions, and ensure adherence to local tax laws and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) • Process payroll, manage statutory payments, assist budgeting/ forecasting, and monitor cash flow to optimize working capital • Handle global AP and AR-related transactions. • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal financial policies • Lead and develop an accounting team, providing guidance and mentorship • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and controls

The Requirements: • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) • More than 3 years of experience as an accounting/finance lead responsible for accounting, auditing, and taxation in Singapore • 5-10 years of experience in managing a full set of accounts • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP B1, SAP S/4 HANA, QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB) • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas) • Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet datelines. • Proficiency in Japanese language is essential to effectively communicate with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers RGF Privacy Policy – https://www.singapore.rgf-professional.com/privacy-policy Disclaimer: The Company complies with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP), including the prevailing guidelines on recruitment.
