Our Client: Our client is one of the Japanese global leaders in the Engineering industry, specialising in M&E Construction projects. They are actively looking for an Assistant Project Manager (Mechanical) to join their team in Singapore. The Responsibilities: • Assist in the day-to-day project management to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements • Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating and communicating aspects of project work activities on site from conception to completion • Ensuring all activities on the project are executed in accordance with contract documents, in compliance with system plans, and work procedures for the Project, and will culminate in a validatable facility • Coordination / schedule meetings on the daily progress of works on site • Ensure that the project stays on schedule, meets safety objectives, and the design will result in a cost-effective facility • Assist in evaluating proposals submitted by vendors for the package; followed by tender interviews / clarifications and evaluate re-submissions by vendors • Review documentations submitted by vendor and ensure that all comments are incorporated to meet the requirement / specification of the project • Review contractors design documentations and coordinate with related stakeholders on process related issues • Review design data; identify and resolve engineering design issues
