The Company A Global Medical Device company based in the US. The Role
- Work closely with the Japan business leader in developing financial plans and forecasts while working closely with the counterparts in US HQ, and also consulting with the team manager and the finance director.
- Identify monthly key financial indicators and track performance. Identify risks and opportunities, and work with its respective business leader/managers to develop plans and action plans to address them.
- Constructively challenge business unit in order to make sense out of the financials and business strategies and eventually to contribute to healthy growth of the business.
- Look for synergies across business unit and for Japan region in order to maximize potential for the business in Japan.
- Support the team, the team manager and finance director as for various financial analysis and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate within finance team to ensure the financials we present are in line with the rules and guidelines according to the world-wide finance manual.
- BA or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or its equivalent.
- Experienced in financial analysis
- Deep understanding of accounting principles
- Over 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- In total over 5 years of experience in Finance including accounting and other financial area.
- High communication skills both in English and Japanese.
- High business presentation skills both in English and Japanese.
