Our Client: Our client is one of the top Japanese companies whose business is in the development, production and sales of Flavors & Fragrances/ Cosmetic ingredients. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join their growing team in Singapore. The Responsibilities: • In charge of monthly accounting closing, journal entries, bank reconciliation, currency revaluation etc • In charge of branch offices’ vendor payments, tax payments, fund transfer of staff payroll and claim reimbursement, checking the payment summary received from local consultant firm and make sure all supporting documents provided are correct • Prepare branch offices’ monthly accounts together with the accounting consultants, and review the monthly management accounts submitted by overseas consultants • Prepare quarterly GST return reports and send to accounting consultant for filing • Provide support for both local and branch offices’ annual financial audit • In charge of internal vendor payment (OGJ, OGI & OGC) and provide netting payment documents if required • Ensure collection of payment from customers and update to accounting system / AR • In charge of payment made to local vendors and staff with supporting docs and email correspondence (if any) / AP • Maintain fixed assets master list, and ensure all office assets are in good maintenance and condition • Prepare manual invoices to intercompanies • Process staff claim in AGHRM and arrange reimbursement • In charge of monthly petty cash closing • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements • Assist in the budgeting and intra-company bank account transfer forecasting to ensure that each bank account has sufficient funds to cover future payments • Assist in annual credit limit review The Requirements: • Degree holder with a mnimum 5 years of experience in corporate finance • Full set of accounting (AP/ AR/ GL) • Good understanding of double entry • Good working knowledge of IFRS, Tax Systems, Audit Compliance and Tax Implications • In-depth understanding of overseas branch financial management / regional handling • Familiarity with the Netsuite system (OneWorld / Advanced Finance) is highly preferred • Training for the system will be provided • Sensemaking, Cross-functional thinking and problem solving RGF Privacy Policy – https://www.singapore.rgf-professional.com/privacy-policy Disclaimer: The Company complies with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP), including the prevailing guidelines on recruitment.
