Our Client: Our client is a Japanese Power Asset Management company. They are actively looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Singapore. The Responsibilities: ・The Project Manager will be responsible for providing necessary support to all the participated assets in the region, primarily in the EPC phase but also support during late development and commercial operating phase ・The role will include identifying best practices and ensuring continuous improvement in the design, procurement, construction,commissioning, and warrantee activities. Including leading and participating in required oversight and initiatives with the aim of ensuring the projects are implemented to a high standard through the lifetime of a project from Financial Close to end of service ・Assigned work includes supporting / overseeing the project implementation teams ensuring technical and commercial compliance to the requirements of the company requirements,budgets, contracts, environmental and safety ・To recognize a strong H&S culture,including the ability to provide exemplary H&S leadership and drive continuous improvement ・Weekly regular travel is expected within the Asia region; occasional travel is expected worldwide ・The Project Manager may be called upon to fill a project company management position until the permanent employee is hired or assigned. This requirement may require extended periods of time away from home in various Asian nations

The Requirements: Education and Experience ・Electrical, Civil MSc/ BSc degree or equivalent work experience ・At least ten years’ experience of thermal Power Plants through design, construction, commissioning, and operations ・Experience in thermal power plants, e.g. coal fired, gas CCGT, geothermal, waste to Energy. ・Experience in implementing and leading safety ・At least five years’ experience in line management Knowledge and Expertise ・Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the design and construction of Power Plants with a strong focus on achieving high levels of integrity of production processes ・Ability to work across power technologies, including thermal gas,solar, renewables ・HSE leader, comprehensive understanding of H&S Culture and application of safety and best practices in the design review and process safety reviews ・Ability to development, measure, maintain and evaluable constructions schedules, experience with Primavera is beneficial ・Good leadership skills proven in a multicultural environment ・Knowledge of typical legislation associated with Power Plants ・The ability to communicate effectively in English to be able to liaise effectively with English-speaking stakeholders ・Knowledge of risk management techniques ・Knowledge of commercial processes and budgeting experience ・With technical and business/financial acumen gained through mix of education and work RGF Privacy Policy – https://www.singapore.rgf-professional.com/privacy-policy Disclaimer: The Company complies with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP), including the prevailing guidelines on recruitment.
