Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is one of the top leading Manufacturing Companies and is headquartered in Japan.
They’re actively looking to hire a Secretary to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
• Facilitate effective communication between Singapore and Japanese HQ and Division as well as Japanese suppliers
• Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion for GM & Managers
• Prepare presentation for senior management in Japanese & English for customer visit for Quarterly and Annual Financial Reports
• Generate monthly report both in English & Japanese
• Support in other ad hoc projects as assigned and administrative support to Senior management & business management department
• Support as a Personal Assistant to GM such as attending and taking minutes in Manager meeting and follow up the completion of managers assignments
• Arrange visit to or from Japanese VIP or directors or customers with GM
• Participate in HR roles in recruitment activities
• Other tasks as assigned by GM
The Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or another equivalent major
• Possess basic knowledge in Finance
• Experience in interpreting/translating between English and Japanese as he/she will communicate with native Japanese-speaking stakeholders
• Excellent communication, analytical, presentation, reporting skills
• Proficiency in Japanese language to carry out translation responsibilities and liaise with native Japanese-speaking stakeholders
• Experience in manufacturing industry will be an advantage
• Great skills in Microsoft Word
