Senior Officer, Compliance

Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading Banks in Japan. They are currently looking for an Senior Officer to join their Compliance team.

The Responsibilities:
•	Perform KYC works and AML checks
•	Maintain good relationship with the local authorities (mainly MAS) and the audit firms with manager
•	Obtain information on latest regulations, and share with related people in the organization
•	Draft policies and procedures manuals 
•	Prepare reports for the local authorities and the Head Quarters
•	Regularly monitor the branch operations and make sure they comply with the rules
•	Propose improvement proposals if needed 
•	Conduct compliance training for branch staffs
•	Handle legal matters and consult with legal counsel where necessary

The Requirements:
•	Relevant working experience in financial industry for at least 3 years/  2 years experience in compliance 
•	Good communication skill, strong learning ability and multi-tasking skill
•	Proficiency in English, Chinese and Japanese to handle Mandarin/ Japanese speaking customers
