Duties & Responsibilities:
• Works closely with and have impact on: Production, Quality Assurance, Facilities Maintenance
• Initiating and starting up a Global OpEx (Operational Excellence Program) at HSOT, communicating with other sites, implement the OpEx activities to meet the Program Roadmap
• Work with relevant teams or departments to identify & prioritize opportunities to improve process and eliminate NVA activities across HSOT
• Lead person / provide the coaching & mentoring for engineers to implement CI projects
• Interact effectively with relevant teams or departments to secure resources, commitments for assigned CI projects
• Provide training on Lean tools (VSM, wastes, line balancing, Kanban / pull system, OEE, SMED) & 6 sigma tools (SPC, process capability, hypothesis test, FMEA, DOE) for the Yellow / Green Belts and other plant personal assigned.
• Capture lessons learned from projects to provide best practices sharing & constructive feedback to related people to do better for next CI projects
• Be responsible for result of CI projects, periodically updating the progress to management team
• Establish item master list, standard consumable cost per unit. To continue monitor in monthly basis.
• Establishes the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow to execute Smart Factory implementation and or shop floor optimization
• Apply Industrial Engineering concepts to line management, capacity analysis, scheduling and production planning
• Support manufacturing efficiency efforts for the site (cycle time, OEE improvement, capacity optimization)
• Collaborating with other sites in planning, capacity benchmarking and projects
• Support/Involve transfer, commission and qualify new articles/products for mass production
• Evaluate existing processes and systems and identify opportunities for yield, efficiency and productivity improvements through automation and robotics
• Work closely with Production and Engineering team to design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes to ensure consistency of new set-up
• Comply and adhere to the Regulatory, Quality and Environment-Health-Safety requirement
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Senior Principal Engineer or Senior Manager from time to time
Necessary Skill / Experience
• Age 25-40 years
• Any gender
• Bachelor’s degree from Industrial/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering in any manufacturing industry
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of GMP practices and FDA regulations
• Conversational middle-high level of English *Report to American Manager
• Having multi-tasking skills, organization skills, strong analytical skills, strong communication skills, strong sense of ownership, presentation skills, and PC software applications skills
• Good ability to work independently
• Master’s degree is preferable.
• Experience as Industrial engineer in Medical or Food Manufacturing field is preferable.
• Management experience is preferable.
• Certified Black Belt/Green Belt for LSS or 6S with advanced knowledge and practical experience about Lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma & project management is preferable.
• Experience in ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, or ISO 9001 is preferable.
• Strong knowledge of ISO13585 is preferable.
• GMP manufacturing and Medical Device manufacturing experience is preferable.
• Programming and Auto-Cad skill
