<Job Responsibilities>
1. Carry out inspection, supervision, and control quality following the company's standards and procedures.
- Material incoming inspection.
- Welding inspection (structure, Tank, vessel, and pipe).
- Structure, vessel, and tank visual and dimension inspection.
- Paint inspection.
- Pressure Test.
2. Regularly make inspection reports to managers. Document non-conformance reports and work with other departments to implement corrective actions.
3. Check all documents from suppliers, and submission documents to customers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control records.
4. Make suggestions to improve the company's standards based on manager approval.
- Available for same-day business travel (company car or personal motorbike with allowance).
- Develop and implement quality control plans for water treatment equipment and processes.
- Review and analyze inspection data and identify potential quality issues.
- Coordinate with engineers, production personnel, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient quality control procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry standards and regulations.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
・Language: English - Intermediate Level
・Experience: From 1 to 2 years of working experience in Quality Control for structural components, storage tanks, vessels, or piping.
・Knowledge for engineering:
- Reading and understanding technical documents, and drawings in English.
- Knowledge of materials used in structural components, storage tanks, vessels, and piping (JIS, ASTM, or equivalent standards).
・Technical competencies:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint...)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D and other engineering software.
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
・Having proficiency in the Japanese language is an advantage
・Proficient in quality control methodologies and familiarity with relevant industry standards is an advantage.
・Understanding of ASME VIII, ASME IX, and ASME 31.3 standards is an advantage.
・Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is a plus.
