Job Description
Our client, a Chinese Banking Group, is now looking an experienced candidate to join their expanding team:
Responsibilities
1.Evaluate large dollar amount and exception underwriting of complex consumer loans (secured products) and makes credit decision within the delegated lending authority which has great impact on our customer relationships and product profitability.
2.Ensure consistent, effective and efficient credit decision in place for acquisition process through conducting post approval review on loans approved by underwriters (to ensure consistent adherence to and compliance with the Management’s directions, strategies and policy), providing input on credit approval process, reviewing acquisition statistics and monitoring deviation approvals.
3.Assist the Credit Administrators to review all aspects of the credit cycle (product programs, underwriting, monitoring and collections) with a view to ensuring that these are to the industry best standards and compliance to regulatory requirements.
4.Assist the Credit Administrators to formulate sound credit policies and procedures to support new consumer product developments or marketing programs.
5.Ensure appropriate MIS and portfolio performance analysis in place to monitor and report to management on a timely, complete and accurate basis.
6.To support risk management ac-hoc projects.
Requirements:
•University graduate or above
•At least 8 years’ banking experience in consumer credit and having detailed knowledge of consumer product lifecycle, including origination, monitoring, collections and recoveries
•Strong business sense and credit analytical skills
•Ability to work independently and under pressure with good communication and interpersonal skills
•Proficiency in both English and Mandarin as well as strong writing and presentation skills
•Mature, self-motivated and detailed oriented
•Sound Knowledge in application software
