Job Description
Our client, a famous Japanese insurance company is now looking for the following candidate -
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of account handlers in developing & achieving business targets through providing professional and excellent customer services
- Assist Manager/Department Head for servicing, marketing & developing the existing key and important corporate clients & intermediaries
- Develop and maintain good business relationship with clients and explore new business opportunities, especially focus on making more quote chances and producing new marine and trade business
- Deliver quality services to customers by responding to client enquiries, providing quotations, assisting in claims settlement and handling complaints, etc.
- Perform risk / underwriting assessment within the delegated underwriting authority or work together with Underwriters, undertake cross selling and customer requirement feedback activities, contribute the customer expectations for new product development
Requirements:
- University graduate preferably in Insurance Studies
- Professional insurance qualification such as ACII, ANZIIF or partial fulfilment of these professional qualifications is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in general insurance industry
- Experience in account development / management or marine insurance will be of advantage
- Excellent customer services, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Good team player with initiative, self-motivated, result-oriented and achievement driven
- Excellent command of both written and spoken in Japanese, English and Chinese
- Hands on PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
