Job Description
Our client, a famous US retail is now looking for the following talent to fulfill their team -
Responsibilities :
- Review all Japan invoices and post A/P transactions and ensure the proper approval on each invoice before payment.
- Assist and maintain the local vendor record.
- Maintain the relationship with vendors and respond to the inquiries such as the payment status.
- Coordinating in all kind of tax payment in Japan and file the tax on time with assistance of local tax agent
- Coordinating with Internal / External Audit
- Support in Japan new store opening
- Support on add-hoc requests (e.g. translation) and provide Japan local knowledge
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred
- At least 2 years experience in accounting preferred
- Fluent in English, Mandarin & Japanese
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Self-starter that drives for results in a collaborative manner
- Ability to work independently as well as with others while balancing multiple tasks
- Experience with ERP system
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills
