Job Description

Our Client is a listed company on The Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

M&A Manager

Job Responsibilities:

•Conducting investigations into the financial and commercial state of companies subject to a particular transaction

•Carrying out financial modelling, then developing and presenting appropriate financial solutions to management 

•Working with corporate finance colleagues to provide advice on capital structure

•Preparing thorough strategic and financial analysis including the building of advanced valuation models both at the asset and company level

•Project managing transactions, overseeing the negotiation of terms and developing proposals to raise funds

•Lead transaction process, including coordination of internal working group, management of external consultants and advisors, due diligence process, etc. 

•Build and maintain productive relationships with corporate executives and business unit officers, with target company management teams

•Provide senior assistance in managing cross-functional teams for acquisition including areas of due diligence, strategic fit, valuation, synergy identification, etc. 

•Maintain complex/detailed financial and valuation models as appropriate 

•Work with outside advisors and consultants to ensure proper financial diligence, legal review & documentation, tax structuring, etc. 

•Ensuring all the regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered


Job Requirements:

•At least 4 years of managerial experience from big4 M&A or investment banks’ M&A team 

•Strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills

•Ability to work independently and to plan and execute projects with minimum supervision and to complete work within required deadlines 

•Ability to think “outside the box” and apply creative and constructive thinking to proposed recommendations for improvements to internal processes controls, procedures, and policies 

•Demonstrate excellent analytical skills in proposing well-founded conclusions 

•Outstanding ethics, integrity, Initiative, autonomy, adaptability, maturity and sound judgment 

•Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to comfortably interact with all levels of management and unionized staff in a professional and mature manner

•Prior M&A execution and transaction hands-on experience in different countries an advantage 

•Fluent English is must and Mandarin essential

•Less experience may consider as M&A Officer
