Job Description
Our client, a Japanese Restricted Licence Bank, is now seeking a Product and Business Development Manager to join their expanding team in Hong Kong
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the head of the team to manage day-to-day type 1 and 4 business (the core business) of the company as well as handle ad-hoc requests from internal & external stake holders.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with various fund houses and closely communicate with Treasury team to manage and control the bond transactions.
- Conduct due diligence for new funds and bonds as well as monitor the performance, risk, condition, and adequacy of the products on a regular basis.
- Facilitate the framework of product implementation and development, maintenance and control, research and idea generation, and team building.
- Market research (both business related as well as capital market research and product research) using existing resources which the bank is authorized to use.
- Create and maintain the policies, procedures, and forms related to products and partnership arrangement when required to do so by any internal committee in the company, by the management, or by the head of the team.
- Maintain the competency required by the relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 year of working experience in product development / implementation / monitoring / due diligence with other asset management firms.
- Holder of SFC Type 1 and 4 preferred
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese are advantage
- With Self-initiative, problem resolution, detail oriented & ability to manage multiple/complex projects with minimal supervision
