Job Description
My client, is a Chinese Securities Company, is urgently looking for an experienced Settlement Manager in their expanding team:
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily settlement activities include Hong Kong and Overseas Equities & Futures, Stock Options, Fixed Income Products and Derivatives;
- Supervise and monitor Pre-matching, Post Trade Processing, Nominee Services, Stock Reconciliation, IPO and Placement
- Liaise with brokers, in-house counterparties to follow up any settlement related issues and enquiries
- Provide assistance to Department Head to develop and implement workflow procedure and guidelines, new products and services related to Settlement functions and business
- Participate in system development projects include UAT, system migration and ad-hoc project.
- Assist in review and update operations manuals to ensure control processes and all internal procedures are complied with rules and regulations in relevant jurisdiction and internal policies
- Handle ad hoc duties as assigned by department head or management
Requirements
- Degree holder with 5 years relevant working experience in Securities / Brokerage or other related Financial Institutions
- Solid experience in Securities Settlement for Hong Kong and Foreign Exchange markets
- Knowledge of financial products such as Structured products, Bonds, Equities and Index / Commodities Futures etc.
- Knowledge of CCASS, DCASS, CTM & Euroclear operations
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese & Mandarin
