Job Description
-Consultants appointing: the main PIC to appoint and liaise with consultants, shortlist and issue RFP to designers, consultants and contractors, evaluate their proposals, make recommendations to clients to help client make decisions.
- Design: analyze requirements and other design conditions based on marketing demand trends, review MEP design with architectural/structural design and coordinate, when necessary, optimize function, space, and performance criteria, adjust design conditions including coordination among specialist discipline requirements, recommend and obtain design approvals from the clients.
- Construction: coordinate and review shop drawings, manufacture drawings and specifications, method of statements and samples submitted by Contractors, manage and monitor construction quality, monitor and recommend defect rectifications, review construction progress report, support project handover to hotel, service apartment, office, retails and residence operator.
- Costing: review and manage cost estimation submitted by cost consultants, contractors and other relevant parties, study value engineering to fit to the client’s budget, when necessary, monitor cost fluctuation arises from valuation orders, review and recommend payment certifications.
- Schedule: monitor construction schedule, study delay or EOT requests and report it to the client, review schedule submitted by contractors and suppliers and provide advice when necessary.
- Authority related: work with consultants to prepare reports for regulatory submissions and coordinate with permitting consultants to obtain timely permits as required.
- Others: as a representative of project management team, attend all necessary meetings
with stakeholders and facilitate MEP topics related meetings, monitor MEP QAQC works regularly, issues decision making paper for client’s sign off, give instruction as project manager and approve all necessary documents related to MEP project management works, submit project management progress reports regularly.

Job Requirement
-Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, construction management or equivalent from a reputable university
-Business English skill
- 5-8 years of experience in MEP design, installation, and construction management, hands on experience in managing complex construction projects in MNC developers or contractors as MEP engineers especially luxury and high-rise building
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and good knowledge of market building standards, regulation and trends.
- Able to plan, schedule and oversee all phases of the MEP construction process, and manage project budgets, minimizing the costs.
- Able to identify, analyze, and mitigate the risks related to the MEP aspects of the project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for liaising with clients, project stakeholders, international consultants, contractors and other team members.
- Good knowledge of MEP-specific design tools such as AutoCAD, BIM etc.
- Strong attention to detail, responsible and able to handle multiple tasks, adaptability to changing project requirements.
