Subcontract Manager (70K–90K) (SDG-95899)
<Job responsibilities>
- Manage subcontractor agreements, including communication of scope changes (e.g., drawings, specifications, schedules) and resolving issues related to price, delivery, or technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with the Project manager to address changes in pricing, delivery, or subcontractor capabilities.
- Develop and manage sourcing plans and monitor subcontractor performance in areas such as cost vs. budget, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring alignment with the overall Project schedule.
- Create RFQs for subcontracted work, evaluate quotations, and resolve commercial and technical exceptions to meet objectives for quality, delivery, and price.
- Issue purchase orders to approved suppliers and ensure vendor certifications are up to date.
- Verify that all commercial documents comply with agreed terms before issuing purchase orders.
- Submit bid evaluations through the Deviation Management System (DMS) and ensure proper approvals are obtained before purchases.
- Review and process Document Control Automation Program (DCAP) packages for accuracy and completeness before sharing with suppliers.
- Communicate necessary information (e.g., drawings, schedules, shipping details) to subcontractors and Coordinate with the Logistics Department for delivery milestones.
- Support corporate supply chain management (SCM) objectives and assist in preparing Special Conditions of Purchase, including warranties and delivery terms (e.g., Incoterms).
- Identify and report issues requiring Management intervention and actively participate in TEAM meetings.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks impacting supplier performance, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and annual performance reviews.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Thai nationality , Male, Female , age 27 - 40 years old
- Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor’s Degree in science Engineering or Science in Business. (Or experience within the fields of construction, subcontract management or purchasing)
- 5 years experience of general steel fabrication management practices.
- Experience in managing subcontractors or other procurement-related activities.
- Conversational high in English both verbal and written skills to clearly Communicate subcontracting and manufacturing issues to suppliers and internal.
- Must have a valid Passport for International Travel.
- Be a well-organized, results-oriented, and competent sourcing professional, with the highest integrity and work ethic with time Management skills to adapt to unexpected changes, customer emergencies, and priority changes.
