Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> This position will be responsible for safety management operations under the guidance of the Japanese department head reporting directly to the President. Once the work is stabilized, this position will be involved in some stages of product development. ・Main task (90%): Responsible for chemical safety management (following with Vietnam Chemicals Law) - Establish and operate a safety management system based on Vietnam's chemicals laws and regulations - Support for risk assessment of raw materials, products, and waste, and implementation of management measures - Support for administrative support (including contact work to negotiate with lawyers, such as requests for preparation of notification documents to administrative agencies). - Education, guidance, and information sharing within the company (manufacturing, quality, and technical divisions) - Preparation, updating, and management of safety-related documents such as SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and GHS (Globally Harmonized System) labels ・Sub-tasks (10%): Commercialization support (with future expansion) - Support for recording and documenting trial production and evaluation data - Experimental work related to product development (depending on the situation) - Collaboration with the manufacturing department and support for mass production - Provide technical support to customers when necessary.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Education:achelor's degree or higher in chemistry (*Required for qualification as Chemical Safety Manager) ・Age: 25-40 years old ・Gender: Any ・Language: English Intermediate Level (IELTS Overall 5.5 or equivalent) OR Japanese Business Level (JLPT N2 or higher) OR Chinese Business Level (HSK Level 4 or above (HSK Level 5 is preferred) ・Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in any of the below: - Chemicals safety management or EHS operations - Production, development, and quality control of chemicals, paints, and raw materials. ・Other: Knowledge of laws and regulations: Experience in understanding and applying chemical laws and regulations in Vietnam. <Preferable Personality> - Able to grasp situations structurally and organize and report them logically. - Able to work steadily in a role with a clear scope of responsibility. - Able to learn proactively, propose and implement solutions to problems.
