Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
1) Management and execution of operation of forwarding operations and business plan
- Monitor operations and business performance of forwarding on a daily basis in line with the Company’s policy, business plan, and growth strategy.
- Follow up on operations procedures and resolve any issue or incident that occurs.
- Monitor and ensure operations and service quality to meet customer's expectations and requirements with excellent customer service from the team
- Full P&L responsibility of the customer in charge to meet target of revenue and profit, report and analyze business result versus plan and targets/KPI
- Build good relationships with customers at all levels
- Develop annual and middle-term business plans for the department
2) Management and execution of operations of the forwarding team
- Execute the operation of the team
- Ensure operational stability and productivity of the entire operation
- Ensure team members have the necessary tools/resources to achieve assigned tasks in a quality/efficient manner.
- Monitor and assist team members with their role development
- Provide technical advice and resolution to work out the issues that occurred in the team.
3) Be a part of Business Development activities.
- Introduce the Company’s brand and building up the Company’s reputation in the Vietnam market
- Develop freight forwarding sales & marketing strategies and plan
- Develop new business for existing accounts and new customers
- Actively participates in the sales process, sets the sales goals, participates in the Company’s periodical sales meetings, and personally contributes to the results
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education: Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in International Trade, Marine Transport, and Supply Chain management...
・Language: English - Business level (TOEIC score > 720)
・Having good PC skills
・Have good communication skills and good teamwork
・Have 10+ years of experience in a management position in international freight forwarding with a proven track record in a mix of operations and business development.
・Have knowledge of business management and can manage bases with CEO.
・Have Industry Knowledge and the ability to present the Company’s services and related information in a persuasive way to all audiences, organizations, and/or potential customers.
・Have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, demonstrate drive and tenacity to work to and achieve targets
・Have good people management experience, the ability to influence, collaborate, and manage the team, and sharp problem-solving skills.
・Can work under pressure and have a high sense of teamwork and responsibility
・Have excellent communication skills: outgoing, positive, engaging in conversation, and willing to give up your free time to interact internally and externally. This requires the skill of public speaking and the ability to speak comfortably in front of a group.
