Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
- Provide support on tasks in data centers such as web servers, Windows/ Linux-based servers, network devices, Virtual platforms, and many other application servers and activities that help our IT system operate smoothly
- Act as a point of contact to receive requests from users or other department-related businesses to support in a timely manner and ensure services are available and reliable to meet business expectations.
- Maintain hardware, and software and supported other activities such as upgrading hardware, server setup and component configuration, connectivity problems..etc
- Manage work requests by user and follow up promptly
- Working closely with other teams eg: ERP(SAP), Development, Solution Team, Data Center… and Business Unit to ensure issues and requests are addressed timely.
- Assist business users in gathering requirements and preparation of Change Request applications.
- Be in charge of automation maintenance tasks
- Support projects inside the corporation.
- Update system documentation and training documents/user manual
- Provide training to users or junior members of the team
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education: Bachelor's Degree
・Language: English - Business Level
・Experience: At least 1 year as IT Support Staff
- Experience in Server OS such as Windows/ Linux(Unix)
- Experience in implementation, and operation related to infrastructure such as Network/ Server
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Knowledge or experience with virtual infrastructure such as VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph
- Knowledge or experience with operation tools such as Zabbix, JP1, Hinemos
- Knowledge or experience with automation operations such as Ansible, Terraform
- Knowledge or experience with Nginx/Apache, Postgres/MariaDB..
- Knowledge or experience in using Open Source Software(OSS)
- Knowledge or experience related network management such as DMZ, Firewall, Load balance, DNS..etc
- Knowledge or experience with ITIL
- Knowledge or experience in risk management and BCP
- Having real work experience in application maintenance support is a plus
- Knowledge in the Software development lifecycle is a plus
- Experience working in Japan
- Able to communicate in Japanese
