Job Description

<Duties and Responsibilities>
- Supplier Management: Issue inquiries to approved suppliers, follow up for offers, and assist in ensuring technical clearance in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Cost Analysis: Assist in conducting detailed cost calculations for fabrication, machining, and assembly. Support in determining estimated prices and negotiating commercial terms to achieve cost savings.
- Order Management: Help finalize and issue purchase orders to local suppliers, coordinating with international entities, and manage bilingual documentation for Vietnamese suppliers.
- Payment and Documentation: Issue payment and expense requests, follow up with finance for timely payments, and help maintain master data for supply chain activities.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Assist in ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods. Support in managing supply chain risks and balancing procurement interests with project priorities.
- Supplier Evaluation: Visit suppliers for evaluation processes and explore new suppliers to enhance product and system offerings.
- Data Management: Prepare and maintain databases for pricing and sourcing, and support data management on supplier portals. Provide data management support to SCQ to ensure accurate and efficient supply chain operations.
- Communication and Reporting: Prepare presentations, reports, and itineraries for international visitors. Ensure clear communication with project, engineering, and QA/QC departments.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
・Language: English - Business Level
・Experience: From 2 to 3 years of experience as a Buyer/ Procurement, with experience in a steel plant being an added advantage.
・Technical Skills: 
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost calculations.
- Familiarity with Vietnamese customs, Incoterms, and claim settlements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with e-auction tools and knowledge of steelmaking equipment.
・Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
